NIJ Studies Document Risk of Sexual Assault on College Campuses

April is sexual assault awareness month, and many colleges and universities will make an effort to focus attention on the problem. NIJ has sponsored several extensive studies of sexual assault on college campuses. The studies examine the frequency of sexual assault, and cover topics such as risk factors and the effectiveness of self-defense.
