For all homicides, the percent cleared by arrest began at 79 in 1976 and decreased to 62 in 2001. After 2001, the percent rose to 64 in 2002, before decreasing to 62 in 2003. Then it increased, reaching 63 in 2004, before decreasing to 62 in 2005.
